EXECUTIVE SESSION MEETING
MAY 27, 2010
SILVER LAKE TOWN HALL
7:00 P.M.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL:
Council Members Gale Owens, Ron Jones, and Linda Baker were present. Also present were Angie Glass, Clerk-Treasurer, Craig Hollopeter, Town Marshall, Jasun Blocher, Town Superintendent.
OLD BUSINESS:
(1)ANGEL MCGLENNEN was still having issues with her health insurance. Chris Cotton from Hall & Marose also attended the meeting to try and help the McGlennen's get through the process appeal. At this time it was brought to the council's attention that McGlennen's had paid for insurance that was not yet in affect. The board agreed to give the McGlennen's a refund and Chris was going to check with Anthem on a refund for the town.
(2)EMS BUILDING REPAIRS were discussed. The conclusion was that all elected and town employees would get together and work together to complete the repairs and paint the EMS rooms.
NEW BUSINESS:
TOWN HALL RENOVATIONS were discussed. Linda's main concern was that we were spending to much on install charges. Angie said that she would call and see what she could do about that.
JASUN BLOCHER asked if the town could look into the City of Wabash's ordinance about blowing grass into the streets. People are blowing their grass into the streets, it then goes into the storm sewers and blocks them.
ADJOURNAMENT:
